1. as引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句

As引導(dǎo)定語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，可以引導(dǎo)限制性定語(yǔ)從句，也可以引導(dǎo)非限制性定語(yǔ)從句，并且在句中可以充當(dāng)成分，通常為主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)或者表語(yǔ)。引導(dǎo)限制性定語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，常使用 the same…… as as……as 或者 such ……as這樣的結(jié)構(gòu)。比如：

I should like to use the same tool as you used yesterday.

Repeat this as often as it necessary.

當(dāng)as用于修飾非限制性定語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，通常用逗號(hào)把從句與主句分開(kāi)，此時(shí)可譯為“正如”，并且從句位置也相對(duì)靈活，可以放置于句首，句中或者句末。比如：

As is known to everybody， the moon travels round the earth once every month.

The moon travels round the earth once every month， as is known to everybody.

The moon， as is known to everybody， travels round the earth once every month.

2. as引導(dǎo)狀語(yǔ)從句

As引導(dǎo)狀語(yǔ)從句可分為以下幾種，即讓步狀語(yǔ)從句、時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句、方式狀語(yǔ)從句、原因?qū)I(yè)從句以及比較狀語(yǔ)從句。

（1）當(dāng)as引導(dǎo)讓步從句時(shí)，需要部分倒裝，此時(shí)會(huì)把從句中表語(yǔ)、狀語(yǔ)或者謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞提到as前面，翻譯時(shí)常譯為“盡管，雖然”。如：

Strong as he is， he is afraid of pain.

Try as he does， he still doesn‘t finish the task.

（2）as引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，主句動(dòng)作和從句動(dòng)作往往同時(shí)發(fā)生，因此，as可以譯為“隨著”、“一邊……一邊”。

As we walked， we talked.

（3）as引導(dǎo)方式狀語(yǔ)從句

as表示方式時(shí)可以翻譯成“按照，像……一樣”

You must do everything as I do.

（4）as引導(dǎo)原因狀語(yǔ)從句

as引導(dǎo)原因狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí)，通常會(huì)放在句首，表示聽(tīng)者已經(jīng)知道或者了解的信息。

As the weather is fine， we decide to walk to the restaurant.

（5）as引導(dǎo)比較狀語(yǔ)從句

最后，as還可以引導(dǎo)比較狀語(yǔ)從句，通常會(huì)使用 as……as 表示“像……一樣”。其中前一個(gè)as是副詞， 后一個(gè)as才是連詞。
